A Cure Was Not Meant To Be

God took a look around his garden and found an empty place,
He took a look upon the earth and saw your tired face,
He put his arm around you and lifted you to rest,
Gods garden must be beautiful for he only picks the best,
God knows that you were tired and a cure was not to be,
So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered come to me,
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you slip away,
Although we loved you dearly we knew you could not stay,
It broke our hearts to lose you but you never went alone,
Part of us went with you on that day
God called you home.

Each day a sweet surprise.

Each one has a special glow.
Add some giggles and some laughter,
A dash of Christmas food,
(Amazing how a piece of pie
Improves our attitude!)
Stir it all with human kindness;
